Jimmy Will
Growing up in Meigs County has blessed me in more ways than I deserve. I began farming beef cattle at the age of 14. I was also employed mowing lawns. I worked through high school and college in the agricultural industry which taught me many life lessons. Growing up I enjoyed 4-H for many years showing cattle. I have raised chickens, goats, cattle and pigs. These animals all have a purpose in life as each individual in our county does. I have traveled over much of the lower 48 states and while taking a trip is nice its not home, it’s not Meigs county. This is where I choose to live and build my home.
I have always been interested in local politics since my high school government class. I feel understanding government and the way it works can be learned by various backgrounds if the effort is put forth. Growing up in High school I had a difficult time trying to decide which career I wanted to pursue because I enjoyed so many different things. I chose to attend night school so I could work and provide for myself. After obtaining a degree in business I continued to work but realized to live in Meigs county and use my degree I would need a different background at the time. I chose to pursue nursing and obtained my RN which has opened many doors for employment and opportunity within this great county of ours.
